Dwayne Johnson and Katy Perry, huh? I guess they've decided to grind off the cutting edge and go straight for the dull-normal high school audience.

Please don't mock The Rock. Someday God willing, he may hold the same cherished position that our current president now holds, A member of the WWE Pro Rasslin' Hall of Fame.

It's true del. Ironically The Rock is not a Hall of Fame member, #45 is. For real. Sad.

OMG on The View right now they are talking about Joe Biden running in 2018. From there the conversation turned to The Rock having plans to run in the future. I kid you not, the Rock. Shocked

I'm in Hell!

Not all the way down in one of the deep circles like Eight with the Panderers and Seducers or Nine in the Icy Lake but maybe a middle one like the Fifth with the Wrathful and Sullen.

But it's still Hell nonetheless. The Rock. Jesus!

By the way, I never pegged you for a View fan, Tel.

I wonder what circle you're headed for. Maybe Six with the Heretics, huh? That one's the Eternity in Flaming Tombs one, probably condemned to watching old reruns of The View the whole time.

Yep, The Rock is apparently considering a run for president. I hope he decides not to, because this country is easily stupid enough now to elect him.

The Rock actually isn't that bad as Republicans go. He's socially liberal on most things, and doesn't seem to be the usual rabid frothing hate-monger type or religious whackaloon. I don't recall him ever saying anything bad about Democrats, and he likes a lot of their policies. And Mick Foley, who's a huge liberal, respects the Rock's politics. And, from everything I know about him, The Rock's actually a heckuva nice, decent sort of guy.

But that doesn't mean I'd want him within a country mile of running things in the White House. I don't think he has anywhere close to the experience or expertise or skill-set for that sort of a job. He's great at what he does... and that's what he should keep doing. No more presidents-ya-voted-for-'cuz-ya-liked-their-tee-vee-show. That doesn't work out well.

While wrestling is still a part of this thread, how does The View stack up against Five Women Naked Mud Wrestling?

Of course, that's a niche market.

Lousy show. Bailed after 25 minutes. Wasn't worth it to wait for Weekend Update, sorry.

Interesting sketch when you consider that just a few short months ago the alt right republicons were circling the wagons to protect their beloved Milo Yiannopoulos.

Told you he was thinking about running. His WWE rival John Cenya also seems to have dreams about a future political career. Kane is running for mayor in Tennessee. Jesse Ventura won Gov. of Minnesota and long time WWE champ Bobby Backlund lost a bid for Congress in Minnesota. Last year when I asked Backlund if he was going to vote for #45 he gave this very politically astute answer."Well we can't allow men and woman to use the same bathrooms." Of course WWE CEO Linda McMahon is the small business czar after donating 5 million to #45's campaign.

"More poise and less noise." Great campaign slogan.

The same song they had Hillary playing after she lost the election. Maybe they don't expect #45 to be around when the show returns in the Fall. Love the way Kate Mckinnon's Kellyanne makes a face and crosses her fingers when they sing about telling the truth.

This bit must shake up the WWE with all the incidents of rasslin' roid rage over the years. Roids have been the ruin of many a man.  Sad

I wonder if there's a single person in the US that doesn't like the Rock. He can fit in anywhere ...

A genuine character.

Bob turned me on to Mike Judge's Idiocracy last summer. He was the first on on the forum to compare politics to pro rasslin', and I don't even think Bob knew at the time that #45 was a member of the rasslin' hall of fame. The Rock is a registered republican in Florida and spoke at the 2000 RNC. The Rock introduced Denny Hastert as America's best known former high school wrestling coach. Today former speaker Hastert is infamous as a serial child molester.

Whelp... I'm sure if he turns to politics there will be plenty of hate. I don't know why any sane person would. That would explain our current state of affairs... lol.

Howard Stern warned #45 against running. He had it all but now he has boatloads of shit that will stick to him till the day he dies.

I agree. I never thought they would allow him in. It will be a long time before they allow that to happen again. Not after he did such a great job after the pile of Texas shit before him and the barrel of 1% jizz that was installed into the White House after. Then again most Americans didn't expect our country to be flushed down the toilet so soon after Obama left office.
