This has been an excellent week for Americans and a terrible week for republicans

I wonder if republican voters are feeling as defeated this week as democrats where during the Bush administration after seeing taxes cut regressively three times and then engaging in an occupation in Iraq? Those were dark days for Americans but they were the best of times for republicans.

Flash forward 12 years and now we're seeing - all in the same week - rebel flags coming down in the south and an end to state governments lending legitimacy to racism, we're seeing the LGBT community finally receive the same rights that the rest of the country has enjoyed for some time, and we're also seeing 6.5 million Americans get to keep their health insurance.

Great great week for Americans! Terrible terrible week for republicans!

Let me clarify that.  If you're voting for republicans today, the same people who are fighting the rebel flags coming down, the same people who are fighting gay marriage, the same people who are trying to take health insurance away from millions of Americans, the same who are trying to derail diplomacy with Iran and push us into another costly war...then yes you are unAmerican.  You are quite literally working directly against the interests of this country.
