If you thought 2016 was packed full of liberal foolishness, just wait until you get a load of 2017. As 2016 ends, progressives enter the new year terrified that Donald Trump will continue to run circles around them, and their epic meltdown is only going to get more epically meltdownier. They’ve been shrill, stupid, and annoying for the last two months, but brace yourself for the next 12. Fear is going to make them go nuts – not the fear that Trump will be a failure, but the gut-wrenching, mind-numbing fear that Donald Trump will be a success.

That's okay.... Remember your own words: "The pendulum will one day swing back, and it will swing back hard." No later than 2024. Your personal misery-index is set to rise no later than then.

High hopes, but I do hope Democrats stay on the course they have set. One of destruction. So long as you (in general) continue to keep Nancy Pelosi in power, are trying to make Donna Brazile chair of the DNC. A woman caught passing questions to Hillary Clinton prior to Presidential Debates. A woman fired by CNN for that behavior.

If, as he most certainly will be doing, Petulant President Barack Hussein Obama refuses to get out of the picture and allow President Trump to govern, he will most certainly continue to remind voters of just how bad he, and Democrats managed our country.

President Obama has, and of this, there is no dispute, crushed the Democrat Party. I, for one, want the Democrat Party to survive. I love that they demand to be an example of what NOT to do in governing our country.

Nope, this isn't an extreme swing to the right. It's moderate. It seems extreme because the left has had the pendulum so far in that direction as to exaggerate Trump's stances.

Get over it, you lost.

As Congress comes back into session we see the Republicans scurrying to undo their very first idea to gut the independent oversight office for ethics. They are falling all over themselves like a bunch of Keystone Cops seemingly giddy over what they think is full charge of the gov-ment.

So what do they do right out of the shoot? They totally disregard all the voices from their base to drain the swamp and clean up Washington and decide the best way to do that is to do away with meaningful ethics oversight.

Yes, there is foolishness going on but it is the GOP leading the parade.

You really need to catch up. President Donald Trump already castigated Republicans and caused them to back up on changing the oversight office for ethics.

So, conceding your point that Trump "castigated Republicans and caused them to back up on changing the oversight office for ethics" (pro tip: that's not at all what transpired), why don't you go ahead and get on record that ...

A) The Republicans vote to abolish the independence of the OCE was the correct move ...

... or ...

B) Trumps "decision" to force them to reverse course, retaining the OCE's independence is the correct measure.

Should the OCE be independent or not, Markle?

You should go ahead and make your opinion known on this issue, because the Republicans are certain to revisit it at a more opportune time, and Trump will not make a peep.

Lecturing from a democrat who just supported the least transparent POTUS who failed and refused to appoint an inspector general for the stater department who could have probably highlighted all
The crimes committed by Hillary and Obama in may circumstances. Give it a rest Sally.

100% TRUE!

Sal, are you still beating your wife.

The OCE is a feckless committee. It has no teeth and should be replaced by an apolitical group with real power.

Markle is on record as pro-corruption.

Good for you, weasel.

Pinhead lacks your spine.

Exactly. Just as I said they are like the Keystone Cops running around like chickens with their heads cut off and have to be brought to heel by the Grabber elect because they are so far off target. Disorganized.

All I can say is, if the Republicans in Congress have the same hubris that PeeDog and Lame Dork poster Markle are demonstrating, their cause will be doomed sooner; not later!
