A safe place to go.......12 year olds at midnight.......sorry parents and owners of these teen clubs need to be shutting down at 10pm or earlier.

A vehicle drove by and someone started shooting. Could happen any time of day or night.

In Illinois these teen clubs are a magnet for gangs. The late closing is not anytime during the day. Many municipalities require 9pm closings. We have had repeated problems with gangs and these teen clubs. 12 year old kids are too young to be out at midnight. Period.

The only teen spots I know of are the lock ins. Held at Group facilities.....like skating or Karate. Pare ts drop them off, they sign in and parents pick them up the next morning. A Y thing other than that is ridiculous.

"Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson said the city will investigate why so many young people were at Club Blu into the early morning hours. The city has an 9 p.m. curfew for minors (those under 18) on Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights."

12 year old kids are too young to be out at midnight.   Period.


I'm not arguing with you on that, Sea.  I'm just saying that drive-by shootings can happen ANYTIME, day or night, and they do.
