Cops: Miami man fatally shot over cell phone

MIAMI (AP) -- Miami police say a 54-year-old man is dead after being shot by a teenager who demanded his cell phone.
The shooting happened late Monday in Miami.
According to Miami police, officers responded to a call about 11:30 p.m. As they drove up, they saw someone running from the area. A perimeter was set up and a 16-year-old was arrested.
Police say the suspect told them he and another person were looking to rob someone. They saw the victim with a cell phone, approached him and demanded that he hand it over. The 16-year-old told police the other person, who is also a teenager, held the victim at gunpoint.
Investigators say the victim was shot multiple times when he resisted.
The search for the second teen continues.
