Why does this man want to remain in the U.S. Senate? He surely has more lucrative job offers to consider.

Rubio has a lot of Floridians to persuade if he hopes to win re-election to the Senate. Maybe he should start by first convincing himself.

According to the website govtrack.us, Part-time Senator Marco Rubio missed 35.4% of the votes in 2015--he missed more votes than all 99 other senators on capitol hill. He did draw a full-time salary for his part-time work.... Would your employer allow you to play hooky from work while paying you your full salary?

Just why should we re-elect Part-time Senator Marco Rubio?

Little is right.   Little leadership, tiny talent, worthless work ethic.  We definitely should NOT re-elect him.

Of course, poster Markle will likely come along and heap praises upon Part-time Senator Rubio, despite his DISMAL attendance record in the Senate!!! Twisted Evil

I don't know about others but I'm voting against anyone currently holding office. The entire bunch has been a dismal failure. Rubio is probably only running because he can't find a job elsewhere....

There's always a job as a lobbyist awaiting any ex senator.

Well, read a story the day before he announced his reelection bid, seems McConnell and some other senate republican's talked him into it hoping to save the senate. Don't know how that can happen since most of Florida voted against him in the primary.

From another post
by Floridatexan...

According to The Center for Responsive Politics, over the last five years Rubio's received more than $1.6 MILLION combined from the two industries that are the biggest culprits for the algal blooms: agribusiness and the fossil fuel industry

Probably lobby for 1 or both in the near future.

He won one county in the Florida primary...Miami-Dade.
