Why riding motorcycles is so much fun

I would not have any problem riding off road. After almost getting killed my sophomore year in high school when I was on the back of a motorcycle and a car first did not see us, and second he blew the stop sign......no amount of money could coax me to ride on a public road. I will sometimes get the ATV juiced just for some fun and hit the water and trails, but honestly we use it mostly for work, and it is not the same as a bike where the two wheels vs four give an element of freedom. I guess I just do not get that excited about a bike....never did when my brother raced off road and I had access to all his motorcyles......he had two bad accidents and I could never make sense of any of it.
