The individual who wrote that article (Paul Craig Roberts) believes the Paris attacks were a "false flag" operation conducted by the secret government that runs the world.  He also believes the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school was a false flag too and that the Twin Towers were brought down by controlled demolition.

"Serves Society" is not the definition of capitalism. Bringing a profit to shareholders is part of the meaning. Then you have stability in companies who employ society.

Humans with drive and ambition thrive under capitalism... slugs flounder. Socialism/communism robs humans of that opportunity. It goes against nature. When there is no opportunity/ownership humans sink into despair and hopelessness.

The rest of them here don't know what you and I do.  That Paul Craig Roberts is a cohort of Alex Jones. 

Does it not bother you to see Roberts giving ammunition to a socialist like wordslinger?  Do you think Alex Jones would approve of that when he despises socialism?

I have listened to Roberts for years...he is speaking of crony capitalism. He sometimes in my experience figures people are smart enough to read between the lines....from my experience they aren't...

My gross adjusted income on last year's tax return was 16 grand.  There is nothing that I want that I don't have.

I haven't sold anything to amount to anything since I started collecting social security four years ago.  I quit working altogether.  There's nothing to report.

I don't have anywhere near $900k.  But I do have a nest egg which I never touch because that money is earmarked for assisted living/nursing home.
I have no children to take care of me or to go live with.  If I live long enough that long-term care is a done deal for me.
That's why I don't have a new sports car or a new boat or any of that.

But the point is,  I am not dipping into that nest egg.  I'm living off the $16k annual income,  and as I said,  I want for nothing.
Ya'll can try to fault me any way you want on this,  but I'm actually quite proud of being able to do it.

I have no idea what Pkr was right about.  But if it's that I'm out here buying and selling a lot of shit under the table,  that's as dumb as hell.  Since the beginning of the year,  I've spent every extra hour in the fucking backyard with that patio.  And you know what,  that's the best escape from what I did for a living I've ever had.  You go do that peddling shit for a living like I did and have to deal with all those low-life hustlers year after year.  That's the REAL goddamn capitalism,  not anything wordslinger could even imagine.  
I wouldn't trade my time with it for anything.  But I was equally glad to put it behind me.  My stress level went down about 90%.  lol
