There must have been some serious storms over our neighborhood early this morning. I slept through it all. When I got up, my wife told us our Generac was running. Gulf Power said power would be restored by 2:00 PM. We were back up by about 1:30 PM.
The Generac gives power to the whole house, but it tends to fluctuate, so you don't want to run something heavy, like air conditioning, and I won't run my computer when the generator is on. We had out Generac installed in 2005, a few months after Hurricane Ivan passed through.
