It's certainly true that as fear grows and cowardice takes hold, fascistic and racist right-wing forces will grow more popular.

You can see that right here with the bedwetting over refugees.

You know that during the next GOP debate the contenders are going to try and outdo each other on the ISIS issue. "...Well, I will see your plan and raise you another..." It will take the heat off of their empty domestic platform.

You know, this whole Syrian refugee issue should be an easy one for Americans, and for Christians, and especially for American Christians ...

... and yet somehow, Republicans fail on all fronts.

It's remarkable.

Bedwetting? Oh please get a hold of yourself.

Why should we take in refugees?  We need to take care of our own first. Besides there is no way in hell to vet them.

Yes, bedwetting.

All of your politics are driven by fear.

You forget, you have a history here.

Why should we take in refugees?

Because it's who we are and what we do.

Have you never read what's written on that plaque at the Statue of Liberty?

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Have you never read the Bible?

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

“Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

“And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

“Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.  For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

“Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

“And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’

“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

Matthew 25:34-46

I guess they forgot to add, "except when you're scared".

Pathetic.

Well the refugee act of 1980 says it all, states cannot override the federal govt. Jimmy Carter signed it under a republican controlled senate.

You are full of lot of fake facts on deaths to Iraqis by coalition hands, but how many did Saddam kill?

Along with other human rights organizations, The Documental Centre for Human Rights in Iraq has compiled documentation on over 600,000 civilian executions in Iraq. Human Rights Watch reports that in one operation alone, the Anfal, Saddam killed 100,000 Kurdish Iraqis. Another 500,000 are estimated to have died in Saddam's needless war with Iran. Coldly taken as a daily average for the 24 years of Saddam's reign, these numbers give us a horrifying picture of between 70 and 125 civilian deaths per day for every one of Saddam's 8,000-odd days in power"

We can impeach him and fight it in federal court.....we also can shut down the government if he acts by EO and it will happen.

It's up to 24 now because citizens know Obama isn't going to protect them and these include DEMOCRATIC governors as well.

Quite true.

What you wish to ignore is that it is the massive mistakes and that semi-retired President Obama fully expressed his IGNORANCE of the ISIS problem merely 9 hours before the massive act of war on France.

These states are putting themselves on record as opposing the failed policies of this president.

President Obama has stated that he no longer wishes to defend this country. You know it, I know it.

There is nothing is d about it. If we want to become Nazis, then you are correct it is sad. However, the constitution is clear. The feds preempt the state governors, and the idea that a victim of terrorism can be further traumatized by hate is appalling. Let us be vigilant, but this scardy cat panic and hate is unacceptable.

Obama will never be impeached. That is just silly-talk.
