I have been in real estate sales and taught real estate law, principals and training for 40 years. If you're creating rapport, have a goal of having someone like and respect you, you never, ever pose a statement questioning their intelligence.
You go out of your way to make it clear that if the do not understand something, it is your fault, not theirs that you were not clear enough.
Hillary goes out of her way to call everyone else, but her, confused. Typical of someone so convinced that they are always the smartest ones in a room. Exactly like Bill and semi-retired President Obama.

“Sorry you’re confused,” she said hopefully
Scott has put Hillary Clinton’s statement to Andrea Mitchell that she’s “sorry that [the issue of her private email system] has been confusing to people” where it belongs — in the non-apology apology Hall of Fame. It also belongs, I think, in the Halls of Fame for hypocrisy and wishful thinking.
The problem for Hillary is that the email scandal is simple, not confusing. It’s easy for people to understand that folks don’t set up a private email server, in contradiction, of company policy, unless (1) they want to hide stuff and (2) they see themselves as above the rules ordinary folk must follow.
It’s easy for people to understand that folks don’t wipe a server clean (a concept that only Hillary and her team seems unable to comprehend), unless they are trying very hard to hide stuff.
It’s easy to see that if you say you didn’t send or receive classified information but it turns out that you did, you have been dishonest.
It’s easy to see that if information on your private, home brew, unsecured server turns out to be “top secret,” you may well have jeopardized the national security.
Hillary told Mitchell the exact opposite of what she believes. In reality, she’s sorry that the issue hasn’t been particularly confusing to people.
