DIRECTOR OF NAT'L INTELLIGENCE JAMES CLAPPER: When the final counting is done, 2014 will have been the most lethal year for global terrorism in the 45 years such a data has been compiled. About half of all attacks as well fatalities in 2014 occurred in just three countries: Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

He didnt quantify it as just the United States. He used the term "world". September 11,2001 doesn't qualify as a "year" Ditzy LT.  You must be on the bong this morning or possibly have been down visiting a street pharmacist

I'd be surprised if one of the multiple chem weapons attacks on the Syrian people by Assad didn't top 9-11. That's a war with 500,000+ KIA alone.

Terror attacks have gone up because of what? What was the catalyst for Bin Laden? War vs Terror deaths........is this not a tempest in a teapot? Is not the world having fewer deaths because of conflicts as a percentage of population than ANY time in history.
