College basketball is a superior product.

Its good, but the best in the world are playing in the NBA, and when they play defense and team ball.....it is a beautiful thing. I am happy for Tony Snell tonight. This kid has worked hard and has not gotten his confidence until the last three weeks. Clearly, Cleveland needs to trade for defense.

The Cavs can't get a rebound. Terrible play, from what I've seen.

You have to remember that Love is an excellent rebounding wing. He was missed tonight, but honestly his defense is worse than his replacement. The Bulls are just too deep for this team, and they have been one, two or three in rebounding and blocked shots all year. If Pau and Noah can work out the kinks and Butler and Snell continue to play at the level they have......when Rose is hitting on all cylinders, this team could be a championship team. The Cavs are a year away from contention in the East. I love Atlanta's team play. If the Bulls lose, I want them to lose to a good defensive team who plays team ball.

I only watched a little if the first 3 quarters and all of the 4th. I was impressed by the Bulls.

I have watched about 90% of their games and my concerns was how would the new offensive efficiency with Rose and Gasol joining a tough team defense impact the Bulls defense. I have been terribly disappointed in their defense, but they are starting to jell. Thirty more regular season games with their depth is going to be hard to beat. They all genuinely like each other and are very unselfish. I think Noah is the heart of that team, and he sacrifices his personal numbers for the team......he consistently leads this team in assists and this is exceptional for a big man. Chicago likes blue collar work ethic and I can tell you the city loves Noah and how unselfish he is with his personal stats.

Bulls 112 to Cavs 102.

Crickets from Boards tonight.

It's irrelevant... neither team is very good.

I see that you are expanding your realm of misconceptions....both teams are very good and could win it all, and I will grant inconsistency the first half.....but neither can entirely be ruled out.

The Bulls played well and avoided getting swept for the season, but it's too little too late.

Cavs still own the series on the season 3-1, and the Cavs will still win the East.

Depending where the Cavs end up, they may not get by the second round of the playoffs. They certainly will not win the East, and are the fourth best in the East.......if that. James is descending. Like Kobe he can still gun points in, but as I have argued the last three years his defense is weak and with age he is simply getting sloppy. Things he could pull off at 24 he is not doing well at 30......he has had more wear than most 30 year old NBA players and Thursdays game were clear evidence of what I have been saying.....weaker bench players can disrupt his play, and an old lady point guard in a wheel chair can wheel past him down the lane as he has completely quit moving his feet on defense.......the sun sets everyday.

Oh, and the Cavs have not won the series this year with the Bulls. They play in early April again. That game will be another very good indication who is the better team. Clearly the Bulls and Atlanta are the teams to beat in the East, and right now Atlanta is playing the best.......but the Bulls are ascending........the sun rises every morning.

Sounds like wishful thinking.

Sounds like wishful thinking.

Nope, I figure he is battling a pretty good hang over after seeing the play of James last night. First he thinks the Cavs and Bulls have already played four times.....they have only played each other three times and have one game left in April, and then he did not objectively watch the performance of James. eight turnovers......Rose who has been battling uncertainty with his body recuperating has been making a lot of turnovers this season. He had two turnovers last night.........but the worst part is the kid guarding him probably averaged four minutes all last year, and until three weeks ago was averaging four minutes this year.......Tony Snell made James look foolish last night, and Butler usually does the same......pretty soon they can get the concession lady to come down and guard him and he will be throwing the ball into the stands......James is a very good basketball player......top ten this year in the NBA, but without playing defense, the Cavs have growing liabilities with their three stars defensive skills.

I included the pre-season in my 3-1 figure.

James played terrible....he became frustrated, could not refocus and his frustration turned to anger.

Well in that case, excuse me and carry on with your wishful thinking.

Oh but remember this....Michael Jordan will always be famous for his grace while under immense pressure. Success.....Jordan could always pull through when seconds mattered and not collecting butt splinters like James did last night....not like Mike.

Every time a baby boomer says something like this about Jordan, a Nike executive snorts another line of coke off of a stripper's ass.

Nike made a fortune off of Jordan....making their coke affordable.

James is the Dr. J of this generation.....an amazing basketball player......but like the Kobe comparisons which were hot when he was younger, the TV will fade to gray........great player.......but not like Mike.

You do understand that James had 8 turnovers last night and two of those just barely hit a bull player otherwise he would have had 10.....the NBA record for turnovers in a game.....14.....how bad does have to get before you wake up.
