Where we will be in the weeks following 12/31/12

If we go over: $1380's

If we get a watered down delay: $1410's

If we get a combo of cuts and higher marginal tax rates for the top bracket: $1450's

Looks like the market is telling us we're going to get a deal.

My $1450s prediction looks like it will be low.

I prefer sleep to watching the Polar Express for the fifth time.

So now it is looking like we are getting no deal, and /ES is trading at $1,388.5, which is right in line with my prediction.

I personally hope we go over the cliff and the bottom falls out of it all. Would be an interesting mix.
