Sad story

A local couple we met a few years back had a tragedy while we were traveling. They were both in their early seventies. He had been battling prostate cancer, and while we were gone he had a terrible turn for the worse and the doctors had informed him that his prognosis was slim to zero. He was admitted to the hospital in pain, and the wife stayed with him for two days, and returned home. She went into the backyard and shot herself. He is now slipping away in hospice. Getting old is not for sissies, and be thankful for the time you have with your spouse and loved ones. Life is a short journey.
