Let's talk about next year, and let's lock down some real opinions.

I'll go first.  

FSU is going to suck next year.  They were mediocre this year in a weak conference with a Heisman QB.  Take the Heisman QB away, and they're back to the cellar.  They will not make the playoff.  They may - *may* - squeak in to the top 10 at the end of the year due to a weak schedule but that is the absolute best that they can hope for.  If I have to pick a final ranking at the end of next season for FSU, I'll say 17 or maybe even unranked.

Who would like to go next?  Let's be specific so that there is no question where everyone stands this time around.

Top ten does not equal suck... you're getting as bad as seagoat.

When it's time to pony up to big-boy-analysis, our X-and-O-challenged forum members are nowhere to be found.

I can't say that I am surprised. Just a continuation of what we see in Politics.

I have no problem predicting that Vandy will finish unranked.

I have no problem predicting that the Gators will improve upon their terrible 2014 season.

I have no problem predicting that Michigan will improve with Harbaugh coaching.

I have no problem predicting that TCU will remain in the playoff discussion.

I have no problem predicting that FSU will not even sniff the playoffs. They won't even catch a whiff of it. The only smell that will linger in Tallahassee is the scent of mediocrity.

Sniff sniff. Anyone else smell that?

Yes, it was bad of me to be astounded that FSU beat out TCU and Baylor........I was right again, but I am not very proud of declaring that FSU was not a very good team.......that was painfully obvious watching the Syracuse game early in the season.......In my opinion they were NEVER a top ten team. In regard to next year, I would rather see who is the best team in the MAC conference, than debate such mediocrity as being relevant to the championship series. Terrible mistake to have allowed an unbeaten inferior team in the national championship, and the precedent with Auburn being denied and being undefeated should have allowed TCU into the final four.

I never claimed that they were the best team in the nation... but that they certainly deserve to be in the playoff.

I also didn't pick them to beat oregon and stated that I would've much preferred playing alabama. But you know this.

Pk if you are going to lie.......at least do not do it like Markle does thinking that he is posting lies to a bunch of chimps in a zoo to be consumed like a banana.   You were very specific.  You said that you think FSU will probably repeat.  There was no question.  It was in black and white.  Now you say you never said that........and say Boards is getting as bad as me.

Boards however won the 2014 award for the best prediction in college football and the NFL......he crushed everyone......here it is in August of this year:
We will see Ohio state, someone from the PAC12, someone from the SEC, and FSU reach the playoff. Whoever comes out of the SEC will win that.

Seahawks will repeat easily, as they'll have Percey Harvin this time around.




He was only wrong on the SEC final winner, but pretty damn accurate in his prediction......and he is not even bragging......I would be spouting off for a week.

Look, I picked the bears and Auburn, which was pretty bad, but I am not ashamed that I was mistaken, and I am certainly not trying to lie about those picks.......man up.........and apologize to Boards.

They can't get any worse. With a new coach and adequate recruiting hopefully they will improve......moronic to think otherwise given their stats under Muschamp.

A strong program but so far they are  losing 4 players to the NFL.

He was inconsistent this year. I do not know if you can open the box and out pops a polished QB, but certainly there is merit in your argument, but even with a better QB, they will not be making the final four next year.

FSU is far better without him. The backup won his game easily. Sometimes, and I believe this was one of those times, fellow teammates got caught up in the Jameis hype and started working not as hard as they had in the past believing that "if they have Jameis" we will be OK. Sorry, but it takes 11 guys all clicking on the same cylinders to WIN against the best teams. Oregon showed that against the Noles.
