He did announce today he was seeking bigger and better crabs or legs or whatever. Yes he is going into the draft.

We've got a kid ready to go. No big deal and most of the team is returning anyhow.

Nope. Back to the cellar for FSU. I hope you enjoyed your two years, because it's all over.

How long will it be until FSU enjoys any national relevance or playoff talk again?

5 years? 10 Years?

Did you miss Jameis' replacement for the suspension game? Nuf said. Despite as bad as we got for about 9 years, we never had a losing season like your FAGATORS.

I'd say two years max... twelve freshmen got significant playing time this year.

Sean Maguire 21 39 304 1 2 7.8

When will the FAGATORS even win the SEC East?

Hmmm. Maybe y'all could beat the 8A state champ from the FHSAA?

The sec barely played 500 ball in their bowl games... the times they are a changin.

I keep thinking about the 2015 Rose Bowl. It was an awesome game, for sure!

I am thinking that without Winston, the 'Noles become more vulnerable to teams that almost knocked them off in 2014. This means they will be may not remain an undefeated team at some point next Fall..

What about the Gators....didn't they lose 13 of their last 23 games?

This is a year where teams are desperately looking for the qB position. A wise move to come out this year.

The gators will be fine. They will be back to championship form in the near future.

Hell, the gators fielded the worst team in school history this year almost defeated FSU - which was fielding one of its best teams. If not for a pick-6 in the red zone, the gators win that game.

Think about that for a second. The gators were a dumpster fire in the context of their own program. FSU was on top of the world in the context of their own program. The two meet and are essentially the same.

Yeah. FSU is done. Back to the cellar you go!

Are you kidding me? FSU lost more players to the NFL last year than any other school in the country and they had 10 freshmen starters. I would say that gives a team quite a disadvantage going into the season.

FSU, with a weaker offensive/defensive line than last year, struggled to remain undefeated.

I think he was asked to go pro personally. FSU has McGuire who is competent and can now recruit another stud QB with Jameis' departure.

Did you watch the game?  FSU and UF looked evenly matched.  UF fielded one of the worst teams in school history.  They even fired their coach, and yet they they were evenly matched with FSU.  I'm not making this up.

Here.  See for yourself, election-boy.

http://espn.go.com/ncf/recap?id=400547771

Bad ideas fail.

Beyond all of that, FSU has sucked over the last 10 years. They only experienced a brief moment in the sun due to Winston. That's it. He's gone, so back to the cellar they go.

Don't take my word for it. Pay attention and see for yourself. Just as you were wrong about FSU this year, you will be wrong about them into perpetuity.

No one here called this fsu team a pinnacle team... except you... in order to postulate a self-deluded point.

This tactic was obviously the main focus of your degree in advanced avoidance.

How many times have you, joanni, and KarlRove repeatedly thrown out the line "29 straight wins!!! 29 straight wins!!!! It's a shame they aren't ranked #1" as literally the rest of the world said "Yeah. They're mediocre at best."

And now you want to walk that back?

You three were probably the only people on the planet who were surprised by the Oregon game. No one else was.

Good teams generally blow out ACC mediocrity.

I never claimed that they were the best team in the nation... but that they certainly deserve to be in the playoff.

I also didn't pick them to beat oregon and stated that I would've much preferred playing alabama. But you know this.

Why do you twist the truth to make some random hollow point? We both know you're lying... so why do it?

Sorry Boards, you are wrong. I did mention numerous times they were undefeated, however, I stated just as many times they were not as strong as they were in 2013.

I was very worried going into the Rose Bowl...as much as I wanted FSU to win I knew it was a strong possibility we would not. Oregon was well prepared....the no huddle offense hurt us defensively and the coverage of our top receivers crippled the offense. That combined with the interceptions Oregon capilized on won the game.

I guess joani isn't as guilty as PkrBum. Joani always is careful to make sure that she isn't actually saying anything of real substance.

PkrBum wrote:They are the undefeated reigning national champions in this universe. With jameis they can beat any college team.

PkrBum wrote:The undefeated defending national champions with the returning heisman trophy quarterback... nuff said.

They aren't as good as last year... but certainly deserve their ranking to this point.

2seaoat wrote:Neither ND nor FSU stand a chance in a 4 team playoff.

agree

PkrBum wrote:Disagree... Nd is overrated every year... and fsu is certainly not as good a last year... but fsu w jameis has a chance.

The kid is a winner on the field... not so much in life it would appear.

Joanimaroni wrote:FSU is still undefeated with 10 freshman starters.

Joanimaroni wrote:Lol.....nice jab!

We are 11-0 and have won 27 games straight. FSU lost 13 players to the NFL after last season and we have 10 freshmen starters.  Looks good to me. Are we the same team as last year...of course not.....but the guys are winning.

PkrBum wrote:Undefeated defending national champions with returning heisman award winner.

PkrBum wrote:Undefeated defending national champions w the returning heisman trophy quarterback... now 28-0.

I'd call this year a lock if jameis was healthy... and the d could put some pressure on the qback.

PkrBum wrote:They're a very young team... and obviously not as good as last year. Yesterday was as bad as they can play and they still won.

Three more makes them national champs... again.

Let's forget all of this.  You guys will never admit that you felt FSU was a good team.  Fair enough.  We'll just pretend that we all agreed that they were mediocre at best the entire time.  Fine.

Let's talk about next year, and let's lock down some real opinions.

I'll go first.

FSU is going to suck next year.  They were mediocre this year in a weak conference with a Heisman QB.  Take the Heisman QB away, and they're back to the cellar.  They will not make the playoff.  They may - *may* - squeak in to the top 10 at the end of the year due to a weak schedule but that is the absolute best that they can hope for.  If I have to pick a final ranking at the end of next season for FSU, I'll say 17 or maybe even unranked.

Who would like to go next?  Let's be specific so that there is no question where everyone stands this time around.
