The cops are the enforcers of the government, backed up by National Guard, etd. We have all seen a number of incidents where unnarmed, non-resistant citizens are bullied, beaten, tased and even shot down by those who are sworn to protect and to serve.

All of us are under constant electronic surveillance, as authorized by our government which no longer adheres to any part of the constitution.

Many of us recognize that we are already at war with our government and the corporations that own it.

Sooner or later the rest of you will.

Reality.

The National Guard has done none of that. Get over it.

Well if you say it's so, then I must be mistaken. LOL Wasn't the Missouri National Guard called in to back up the Police facing protestors at Ferguson? Shades of Kent State! My premise is correct: the people of the United States (even you) are now treated as suspects by militarized police fed intelligence data collected by the Feds, and armed by the Feds.

And if a real riot developed, you'd be among the first to go in and blow hell out of your fellow Americans, while humming America the Beautiful ... Maybe you'd even get a chance to shove some wire-tied captives out of a helicopter door.

Fess up Pacedog ... you know you're not one of us, you're one of THEM.

It's good to know our enemies!!

Reality.

Footage has emerged of a plain-clothed New York police officer punching a teenage boy repeatedly in the back as he was being handcuffed by four other police on Monday.
Witnesses claim the suspect was just 12. The NYPD says he is actually 16 years old and has a history of arrests.
The case has been referred to the Internal Affairs Bureau for investigation and the NYPD is saying very little about the details of the arrest.

You're absolutely correct.
The Missouri National Guard did nothing aggressive at Ferguson -- but they were there with considerable armaments, in case they were called in to quell a riot. If they had been ordered to become aggressive to the protestors, even to fire on them with live ammo, do you for even a moment think they would have refused to shoot?

Maybe you've spent too much time coddled and swaddled and protected from internal American political conflicts by the Army -- here's a refresher:

Corporate campaign financing, with its hoards of lobbyists, makes deals with political candidates and buys their loyalty and votes. The congress has been wholly owned by this system for more than three decades.

The President supports the system and has NEVER, NOT ONCE CONFLICTED WITH ANY MAJOR NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION.

The Commander in Chief can tell the Army what to do. The Army will do as it's ordered -- no matter who their opponents might be. There's is not to reason why -- but to do or die.

The federal government is spying on everyone, and the intelligence they collect is also available to police departments -- AS WELL AS MAJOR CORPORATIONS WHO HAVE ARRANGED TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE MATERIAL.

Accordingly, We have become the enemy of government, and we ARE AT WAR WITH government.

Now, you have to make up your mind Pacedog -- are you one of THEM or one of US?

I remember reading something about them several years ago, some unorganized group of quasi military types who claim they would never turn their weapons on Americans ...

Then their impact lessened and I think their numbers today are probably inconsequential. Tell us, what percent of current members of U.S. military forces have signed on, if you can. My guess is the so-called Oathkeepers numbers are less than 4% of active service members.

The big corporations who control our government are counting on folks just like you to preserve their profit-making.

I have little doubt that gung-ho warriors like you wouldn't hesitate to gun down innocent men, women or children if so ordered. Iraq and Afghanistan have prepared you people for just this kind of obedience.

Screw America Inc.!! Corporate control of our government through campaign financing.

The kid with the bb gun. The young man carrying a toy gun inside a Walmart that he intended to purchase. The black man who was choked to death. The black woman lying on her back while astride her, a California Highway Patrol officer keeps punching her in the face. The teenagers in handcuffs, beaten by a NY cop on video, the militarized cops with their machine guns and armored vehicles during the first Ferguson protest of Michael Brown's death, the California policeman pepper spraying seated, non-violent protestors on a college campus . . . are we on the same page yet?

We are not at war. We need simple budget reductions to reel in much of the abuse which has been a blank check since 2001.

One has to wonder (and I'll fuel the flame) would there be so much for Obama to be "achieving" if he had been elected at any other time? President Bush really set him up well, don't you think?

That is, according to the progressive's view of Mr. Obama.
