Half of the country should sue forks for making them fat.

Bushmaster should prevail but then again this is a very schizophrenic country.

That's just tort lawyers trying to get money out of deep pockets. That's what tort lawyers do.

Don't see this going to far. The Bushmaster preformed flawlessly.

The ones at fault and should be sued are the parents for not locking the guns up and the school for it's lack of security.

Another example of why we should adopt some of the provisions of the British tort law.

This has been tried dozens of times before and failed. As you said, the attorneys simply want a payoff.

In Britain, if you bring such a lawsuit, if you lose, YOU pay the costs of the person or company you sued. Imagine how many lawsuits would never make it out of the attorney's office if the attorney knew not only would they possible not get paid, but their client could end up deeply in debt.

It's a silly lawsuit.They'd be better off suing congress for allowing mentally ill people access to weapons.
