it matters to show that there are people of color who understand the republican principle since the left here is always saying what a racist organization republicans are.

Im waiting for the left here to come along and tell me how stupid this woman is for supporting her beliefs much like they tell me gays and republican dont mix.

but I doubt they touch it, because its hard to place the race card on this isnt it?

They will ignore this for the very reason you state, they can't play the race card.

I'll bet it matters to most Mormons. I bet it matters to most Republicans too, although they might not admit it.

I bet it matters to the left too. They get upset when the right starts eating into thier captive voting blocks.

Kind of warps the ultraliberal agenda - leaving them speechless for the first time since they slithered out of whatever imaginary Utopia they are trying to recreate.

Mormons have missions all over the world. I was a little surprised to see a pretty good representation of Mormons and their church in Japan. I don't think the Mormon church is racist even though for most of us, our view of Mormons is a very white Utah.

I don't think most Republicans are racists. I don't think most of any political group in the USA today is mostly racist. I do think racism/bigotry still exists in every corner of the world

Neko, I gave you a Thanks for that comment.

Ive been trying to get that message across for years.

No one group of people have a exclusive hold on bigotry. Some groups of people do think they are more righteous than others, but really each individual group thinks that about themselves. It doesnt mean its true, its just they hold that belief.

At the end of the day, you have to hold onto whats true to your heart even if it means you dont excatly fit in with any of the particular groups perfectly. Your still yourself. Smile

Your welcome to bring history into this conversation. I admit the comment went over my head when pertaining to this topic. Its always interesting when others enlighten me to things I may not have known.

I think we've come a LONG LONG way over the past 40 years. Sometimes recently I feel like we're going backwards...but I sure hope not.

I agree. I feel pretty much like that, cept backwards wouldnt be my choice of direction for it, I would say we gone "ball of yard wire wild" < if you can understand that direction.
