The Decapitation Of Scientific Progress Images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTWJiIcPIUC609AKz9QVcy0LhBfB_zoBk1AXdSJ3_Hp94RIXsZhKg

Throughout history scientific progress has leaped and bounded forward due to the intellect of men, and women. However this progress only happens when they are free to exercise the right to express new ideas. In the past these ideas were suppressed by the religious factions of the time or in older civilizations, such as China and India, due to the threat they posed to the existing powers. It was only in younger countries, like Greece and later the Dutch, where the entrenched powers of the time did not rule and freedom of thought was encouraged that scientific progress leaped forward.

The decapitation of scientific progress has been blamed on religion and also fear of entrenched rulers to new ways. Are we seeing the same today with a malignant and manipulative design? We have people shouting that 97% of the scientific community are in consensus without skepticism of this answer.
When questioned about the faulty scientific methodology utilized they again scream that all scientific organizations agree and that there is again 97% consensus.

If this is the kind of science we can expect the human race is in trouble. For if 97% of the scientific community is in consensus with a theory that changes data or ignores data to prove the theory it is not science. It is the willful manipulation of data to control the populous. Which only raises the next question...

If this is being done with one scientific theory then what other theories are they manipulating to control the populous?

I'll suggest that scientific progress has reached an impasse in the United States, and possibly worldwide, scientific community due to an entrenched scientific community that pays homage to their political masters who provide them money and grants. Unfortunately for us there are few places left in the world where one can go to escape this corrupt social order and the chances for scientific advancement hold little hope in the near future.

It's what happens when political or religious thought clouds a study:

Government funded research (political)
Moral objectives against study, ex. stem cell research (religious)
