They will also eventually replace traditional restaurant servers. Self-driving cars will one day replace pizza delivery drivers.

Eventually up to 45% of America's jobs will be taken over by robots... This will happen within 20 years.

Couple of years ago we were in Columbus, GA at an Applebees restaurant. The server, young woman in her 20s, came to our table with her manager and a technician from corporate. They placed an electronic menu on our table. We ordered and paid for the meal through this iPad type deal. The server smiled the entire time she explained it. My husband said to her, "You know this is going to take your job, right?" She looked befuddled and laughed - the way one laughs when you don't get it in order to save face -and walked away.

Look at the minimum wage jobs lost through movie stores closing. We love the convenience but jobs are lost through technology.

Most of the job creation will be higher paid jobs than minimum wage. America waas 95% of its population working on farms. Those farm workers for the most part minimum wage workers. Today only 5% of the population works on farms, and the transition and elimination of minimum wage jobs in agriculture resulted in millions of higher paid jobs as productivity increased on the American farm. The same has seen 100% productivity gains in the last 50 years. Automation is a good thing, but the idea that all minimum wage jobs can be replaced by a robot is a bit premature.

Fewer jobs for the uneducated, unskilled means more people on the welfare rolls, food stamps, disability and Democrat voters.
