A recent poll by YouGov and the Economist compared the presidents of the past century, asking 1,000 people to rank the Chief Executives as either “Great, Near Great, Average, Below Average, or Failure.” (Respondents could also select “Don’t Know.” Poor Warren G. Harding.)

The results ought not to surprise conservatives. Nearly one in three people (32%) thought Ronald Reagan was “Great”–more than any other president. In contrast, only 14% though Obama was “Great.”

When it came to negative rankings, only 7% of people thought Reagan was a “Failure.” But, a full 37% thought Obama was a “Failure”–the most of any president.

Based on this, it is easy to conclude that “The Gipper” was the greatest president and Obama is the worse.
