The institution of marriage was always a man and a woman. I certainly have no problem with the expansion, except the consequences on our budget. I believe marriages of convenience will expand, and the core central marriage which nurtures and raises children will have the societal benefit which has accrued to the same diminished as to a greater number, there will be marriages of convenience.....mere partnerships in almost the business sense. Vet benefits, social security benefits, retirement benefits will allow certain transfers where otherwise those benefits may have been terminated.
