And by the way,  about that vending machine.  Is Jesus putting those on location like I did my pinballs and jukeboxes?  And does he split the take 50/50 with the location owner like I did?  Because I already know that racket.  I'll be in like flint.

You are issued an ID card. The vending machine will dispense free Viagra.......but remember..1 Corinthians 9:25 :   Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.

Moderation is essential because gluttony is a sin......the machine will help you moderate your impulses. If you try to over use the machine......lights will flash and sirens will blare exposing your sin. It's all explained in the rule book of heavenly activities.

This is now the second time I've shown my ignorance in posts to Sal's threads.
The first time was when I said "crip notes" instead of "crib notes".
And a friend who read this thread has now called me to point out that the
phrase is "in like Flynn" and not "in like Flint".

He also educated me about the origin of the phrase.  It refers to actor Errol Flynn and his ability to get women.
"In like Flint" was a movie title which parodied the original phrase.

EDIT: I'm also getting senile since this thread aint Sal's thread. lol

See that's one of the disadvantages of communication with written words.
If I had been in conversation with somebody and said "crip notes" and "in like Flynt" they probably wouldn't even have caught it because they would have assumed I had said it correctly.   lol

It's like when I was a kid I thought people were saying "we're going to Waterburger".  So I called it Waterburger for the next two years until I finally figured out it was Whataburger.  But nobody even realized what I was saying because Waterburger and Whataburger sound so alike in spoken conversation.

Relax.....no one gives a damn. It has always been called Waterburger. Flint- Flynn what's the bid deal.

Thanks for coming to my defense. But I've been here since 56 and I've never known about anyone ever calling it that but me.
And it's not a problem for me to be corrected on "crip" and "flynt". I like to be corrected when I'm wrong. That's the only way I can learn what's right. lol

That is the attitude of winners.......fear not the mistake for it will make you stronger.......well at least until you get senile......and then it will not make a bit of difference.

But that's not to say that every time I'm corrected that I'm actually proven wrong.  Only sometimes and both of those were examples of that.  lol
