Just the thought of A-Damn Sandler singing Mel's song made me sick to my stomach...why did I take another look at this forum..sheesh. That guy makes me want to puke. He is the least funny comedian ever lived...what a dirtbag jerk .

this was my mother's favorite song....Before she died and when she was slipping into a coma we played this song and all of us sang it to her...As soon as we got to the chorus she was tapping her foot. In honor of mom this song is played and sung by her kids, grand-kids, and now her great grandchildren join in at all of our major family events.

Glad you liked it. I have introduced quite a few people to crooners. Bing, Frank, Dean, Perry, Mel etc....That is my favorites sounds. I even like to go to country bars and sing them Karaoke myself...sometimes I get strange looks and sometimes I get requests from folks that like them also.. I had this big old burly lineman ask me to sing After the Lovin once..now every time I see him he asks for it again...Lots of folks are softies inside and just look tough.
