I am really surprised in your field that you haven't really done any more digging on Scott and see just where is allegiance is. No, not just the HCA fraud.
No, what smart people do is vote for the lesser of two evils regardless of party lines that some of you people live and die by.
I see by his actions and RESULTS where his allegiance is. The state is doing well under him.
You are aware crist supports obamacare and will expand Medicaid which will remove many of your clients from your list. Then it will increase the tax burden on the public leading to a tax increase(somewhere).
Perhaps you should do some more digging before you dig your own grave.
Scott is a liar and a jumbler of numbers.
Do you have any idea what he did to Florida's unemployed this past year? During the months of October, November and December, many of the state's unemployed were unable to file new claims or claim earned weeks due to the roll-out of the totally screwed up and unusable online Connect system. This was a travesty that resulted in...
.BINGO!....lower unemployment numbers by late December, 2013. Scott conveniently blamed Deloitte, the developer of the Connect system. However, Scott knew in May, 2012 that this system had monumental problems that probably would not be ironed out in time for the system roll-out. Scott allowed the roll-out anyway....
.the results were in his favor, of course. At the behest of senator Bill Nelson, representatives from the national Department of Labor finally came down to Florida in early January.
Essentially, the DOL told our dear governor and his lackey Jesse Panuccio to pay the claims NOW and ask questions later.
Thousands upon thousands of Floridians who
earned unemployment benefits were unable to pay their utilities, rent, food for their children, and gas for their cars. Some were evicted from their homes. It truly was a tragedy, and it was one
Charlie Crist both noticed and spoke out about loudly. Charlie Crist and Bill Nelson. If it were not for them, I suspect thousands of Floridians would still be without earned benefits, while
the skewed numbers were still looking really good for Scott and his crew. Before anyone asks, no, this did not affect me much personally. However, I know people who were severely affected by the Connect mess. I kept an eye on it through the Department of Economic Opportunity's Facebook page, until they deleted the comments section. I am hoping against hope that this whole incident will bring Scott down, once it is fully investigated and released to the public.
