Cool,

I'm surprised. Maybe they are and trying to reach people who are eligible.

Yo don't have to wait for them to call you. Just go to healthcare.gov and do your own application. It's very simple and you can pick out your own plan.

Ok then this Lady calls and says shes following up --OK I said so she started verifying what was said before then all of a sudden she said shit --I said whats wrong she said the Site went down ,  Shocked --So I asked her are you on that Obama web page everyone is talking about -She said yea-then she said Im sorry its late and will you be home in the morning around 9:30-Yes I said -then she said I will call you in the morning -next day I didn't hear from anyone ---yet------------ Laughing ----------- tongue ----Ok I heard they want to put us on AETNA ins.--something like that , But on the news I think they said AETNA was pulling out of it --WTH--I don't understand at all , meanwhile im going to keep the ins my daughter has until I understand what the heck is going on ---So have yall heard or understand what Aetna is up to or understand any of this---- scratch

How did these people get your name and phone number? Did you go on the internet?

No one calls you selling insurance from ACA, no such insurance company.

ACA = Affordable Care Act

Daughter on Medicaid or Health Kids?

Aetna, Coventry and Blue Cross only three company's selling on exchange in Escambia county.

No possible way they could have told you an exact amount of subsidy unless you completed a subsidy application in which they would have had to take you through healthcare.gov and you electronically sign the application. That is you sign it not the agent.

You are being scammed. Get names and report them to OIR 1 800 342-2762

Did you buy the Blue Select,Bob?

There seems to be some confusion about whether I bought Blue Select or Blue Choice.

You bought blue options, blue choice has not been sold for over 7 years on the individual side.

Blue Select you are limited with hospitals.

Bob wrote:By the way,  the healthcare.gov rep I talked to asked me if I have the silver plan.

Why?  Because as I understand it the low deductible and cost sharing may only be good until July 1 at which time the copays for doctors go up to $65 for a primary doctor and $100 for specialists and the drug co pays are going up by $20 for each.
Something about the silver plan cost sharing falls under sequester.

But by then I will be long gone from obamacare.

The healthcare rep told you that? Why doesn't PPCCA know that?

Because he bought the platinum, I showed him all the plans and he chose the best. He had no deductible at all.

They don't count your husband's disability but they have to count his income otherwise to find out your subsidy.

Oh about this thing your daughter turning 18, when doing a subsidy application the child under 19 almost always gets kicked back to medicaid or healthy kids.

Now I feel like a dummy for not knowing that because I now see it says "Blue Options" right there on the front of my fucking insurance card. Shazzam. lol

So what happens if you're not eligible for medicaid? You have nothing?

If after completing a subsidy app and it says the kid goes to medicaid or healthy kids that makes them eligible.

Yes, and he brought his own mild duds even though we sell them.

I sure wish it was called a Lexus or even a Camry plan.  I'm still real leery about anything made in Detroit and especially some big inefficient gas guzzling battleship.  Well except for the 59 convertible.  I make an exception with that.
But since you also sold me a Prius I really like, I guess I can take a Cadillac along with it.  And I have to admit that it will be a treat to have a Cadillac that appears to be loaded with everything.  Especially since I've been driving that way overpriced stripped down Mega for the last 35 years. What a lemon.
By the way,  can you throw some of those milk duds in with the deal?  Or is it now too late to negotiate?

No milk duds man, you wouldn't give me any of yours.

You don't have worry about cadillacs being made in Detroit, I bet those parts are made all over the place.

Hey, did that obamacare operator tell you "If you like your silver plan we thing you can keep it until July"? There are rumors about it.

I gotta tell you, ppaca, with all that talk about gold and silver and platinum and bronze and select and choice and the rest, I can't even keep up with it all.

I long for the days when Sears had only three models of everything they sold, "good", "better" and "best" cause that was easy for my brain to sort out.

Interestingly though, Sears never had one called "bad" and Blue Cross don't have one called "pyrite" either. I find that to be a little suspicious.

Maybe they'll replace one with copper, if they get rid of one. I think they draw straws on which plan to name and the benefits.

Tell you what.  I can be satisfied with whatever it is as long as your insurance company don't tell me "it's like a good neighbor".  Another insurance outfit told me that and I don't even like the neighbors.  And I liked that "neighbor" even less when it told me I no longer had insurance anymore.  lol

Nope, no good neighbor here. BTW you can purchase the cheapest (lol) drug  plan on Medicare.gov, just enter your drugs and it will show you what is best for you, sort of like a good neighbor, but only the govt. They're watching you anyway. Their slogan is now "Someone is Watching You"

We shoulda took this act on the road as a duo. We coulda made more money with it than either the insurance or the jukebox racket. lol

dumpcare

No doubt, obamacare has killed the business. They wanted to get rid of agents and that is what is happening. Next will be property and casualty agents. They won't be satisfied until you are buying all your insurance online through the marketplace.

Aetna already thinking about leaving the exchanges.
