Cool,
Find a post from ppaca. Send him a PM and explain that you want to make an appointment with him to get his help. He's a Blue Cross agent and he will help you. He helped me and several people other people I sent to him.

I'm surprised. Maybe they are and trying to reach people who are eligible.

cool1 wrote:I received a call the other day the guy said he was from-ACA----I don't have ins--I told him the State of Florida was going to drop my daughter in June when she turns 18, He asked me a few questions -I told him husband is covered with VA, So he first did my age and came back with a premium of $4So I told him about my daughter and he then said you pay nothing -WWHHHAATTT!!! Did you buy the Blue Select,Bob?
There seems to be some confusion about whether I bought Blue Select or Blue Choice.
Dreamsglore wrote:Bob wrote:By the way, the healthcare.gov rep I talked to asked me if I have the silver plan.
Why? Because as I understand it the low deductible and cost sharing may only be good until July 1 at which time the copays for doctors go up to $65 for a primary doctor and $100 for specialists and the drug co pays are going up by $20 for each.
Something about the silver plan cost sharing falls under sequester.
But by then I will be long gone from obamacare.
The healthcare rep told you that? Why doesn't PPCCA know that?
cool1 wrote:They didn't ask for husbands information --just mine and my daughters---and they don't count VA as an income they said -Just the job that's it!! I would think if it were a scam they would want his information since he is the one working--I would think but what do I know

You bought blue options, blue choice has not been sold for over 7 years on the individual side.
Blue Select you are limited with hospitals.

So what happens if you're not eligible for medicaid? You have nothing?

Bob wrote:Tell you what. I can be satisfied with whatever it is as long as your insurance company don't tell me "it's like a good neighbor". Another insurance outfit told me that and I don't even like the neighbors. And I liked that "neighbor" even less when it told me I no longer had insurance anymore. lol
