Merthiolate poisoning

I was wondering why I never see it much anymore.

Merthiolate is a mercury-containing substance that was once widely used as germ-killer and a preservative in many different products, including vaccines.

Merthiolate poisoning occurs when large amounts of the substance are swallowed or come in contact with your skin. Poisoning may also occur if you are exposed to small amounts of merthiolate constantly over a long period of time.

This is for information only and not for use in the treatment or management of an actual poison exposure. If you have an exposure, you should call your local emergency number (such as 911) or 1-800-222-1222 for a local poison control center

Now how much does a small child weigh or you? I say this because the daily amount the EPA recommends is O.1 ug per 2.2 lbs and 0.1 goes into 25 ug 250 X's. so unless you are over 500lb, your being poisoned.

so at 6 month old it is recommended that we poison our children with a flu vaccine.

So I say to you, you may have survived, you were not forced to be injected with it. and now you are retired and don't have to worry about it. I myself have HUGE issue with it not only because my rights to my own health are being infringed upon but also on a more personal level as having a son with autism who was perfectly FINE early on.

I realize no one here will actually read the data presented. fine. But above it is proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are consenting to be poisoned and I could care less, my beef is having it forced on me.

There is no scientific evidence which sustains the theory that vaccinations cause autism. None. However, if you have discovered the same, please let the CDC know about it as soon as possible........I am certain that they would nominate you for a Nobel Prize.

Chrissy, it seems from this that a case COULD be made that if mercurochrome was used more, there would be fewer cases of Autism. I'm not advocating that but what you're advocating seems just as foolish.

The number of children diagnosed with autism or related disorders has grown at what many call an alarming rate. In the 1970s and 1980s, about one out of every 2,000 children had autism.

The federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, better known as "vaccine court," has just awarded millions of dollars to two children with autism for "pain and suffering" and lifelong care of their injuries, which together could cost tens of millions of dollars.

either way, fact are facts. you've seen what the EPA acceptable levels are and you've seen whats in the flu vaccine. people are being poisoned. and some can handle it better than other, its a crap shoot, kind of like Russian roulette with your life.

I certainly think both Mr. Markle and myself make no claim as to our personal education, nor will I insult you in regards to yours. We simply recognize that you are not speaking for or represent science or doctors. Nobody has said vaccines are without risk, rather their widespread acceptance and recommended course in medicine speaks for itself that the risks are small compared to the benefits. Not one credible scientific journal or school has found the relationship between vaccines and autism. Now the silly superstition folks.......they are having a field day with sophistry.

Us Baby Boomers knew merthiolate and mercurichrome well. It was before the days of bacitracin ointment. As I recall, mercurichrome did not burn, while merthiolate burned like crazy. The key was not getting cut and scraped-up while playing outside.

It sure kept us from being cry-babies. If went went whimpering in after a scrape...we knew mom would get the merthiolate out.
