And 26% or more, believe the same about God.

The latter figure is climbing at the quickest rate in our history as people start dealing with reality instead of fantasy.

I think there are more who don't believe but like me for many years just didn't want to say it or acknowledge it. It just wasn't socially acceptable especially on this part of the country.

Do 26% not believe in the Christian God or any God at all? Why does someone's simple belief matter? Someone could believe in God but it has nothing to do with their actions or attitudes.

Don't worry,  wordslinger,  84% of the world's population are still religious. 
But 2/3rd's of the world population don't believe in the real god,  Jesus.  The rest believe in phony gods.  So Gunz will only have 1/3 of the population joining him in heaven.  The other 2/3rd's will be burning in a lake of fire for all of eternity...

I used to think the same way Dreams ... but it's time to come out of the closet! The religious whackos, Christian, Islamic, Hebrew ... seemed bound and determined to kill each other off at an ever accelerating rate.

The real worry you and I have is that lake of fire.  One time I got a second degree burn on the arm and that hurt like the dickens.  Can you even imagine what it's gonna be like to be surrounded by a lake of fire for eternity.  Third degree burns over 100% of your body and no burn unit to go to.  That's gotta hurt like a son of a bitch.

But then again I think about having to be with all those bible thumpers in heaven.  Having to sleep in the same bunkhouse with Brother Carl and Benny Hinn.

There's just no good option here.
