Most of those questions require a presupposition...they're not straight-up yes or no questions. Government spending is not all bad spending. Regulation is not all bad and in some cases is grossly insufficient. Some peoples' taxes are too high...others don't pay enough. What is meant by "free trade"? What if I agree in part with a statement but need to qualify my answer?

A middle school civics class could make up better questions.
