Corn ethanol does nothing to reduce greenhouse gasses or increase energy efficiency. Ultimatley, more petroleum ends up being used to make corn ethanol than is saved from the blended gasoline.

Like Markle said, there is no difference between 89or 87 octane gasoline unless you vehicle has a high performance engine. Engines installed at the factory and not high performance.

Some exotic sports cars with high compression engines use high octane.  Any standard car on the road today is just pouring money on the pavement.

my car is a very old Mercedes. it says right on the gas lever to only use super.

Im scared to use anything else because this car is in mint condition now and its costly to fix. I would be scared to even put a gas additive in it.

I recently took it on a trip and took me all day to make sure I was putting in the right coolant. its not normal coolant, I had to mix it.

im not a car expert either, so if you are Id be interested in knowing if with this car I should continue to use the more expensive gas, although I probably will anyway because im paranoid lol
