I agree with you on this.

Now while I am by far what would be considered a Christian. I am a sinner and I know it.

But I do support many of the Christian values. And at the end of the day I do think that as the Christian ideology remains under attack and erodes away we will see a more chaotic and less productive nation. I base my comment based on some of the things I was taught as a child by Christian parents.

1. Monogamy
2. raising your children. Meaning you don't expect others to raise them for you and you do whatever sacrifices you have to provide for them. ie: work 2 jobs if needed. Laziness is shameful.
3. Its good to pray, even if you are a sinner, perhaps especially if you are a sinner.
4. God is not a dirty word. God gives us hope in the face of all things bad.
5. Be charitable and compassionate, but don't be a fool.

Jesus did say to help the poor, but he also taught that you should not be a fool.

Jesus really did not teach tolerance. Very little actually. so it depends on which tolerance you are talking about? be specific.
