South Florida in the winter is full of very wealthy people. I just walked a marina and cannot believe the size and quantity of yachts that wealthy folks own. I saw one sailboat from Pensacola which probably is a big deal in the Pensacola marinas, but down here it looked like a row boat. All these big boats have radar towers and life boats which were as big as my boat back home.(when I had it....sold all the boats)

The area I walked today was the Westin complex on the south end of Cape Coral. I drove the Fort Meyer and Bonita Beach roads yesterday as we met another couple to watch the playoff games. A grouper sandwich was like double of Pensacola prices and not half as good. I hear a great many east coast accents down here, and mostly old people. I was happy to see some kids today in my walk because I was beginning to think south Florida is a nursing home. The beaches suck compared to Navarre. The water is cloudy, but the temps could not be beat yesterday nearing 90. They say they never get a storm surge from hurricanes and that is why older block buildings are still found a few blocks from the beach. The babyboomers are retiring early as I am seeing lots of mid fifty folks who now live down here retired. Most of the wait staff has foreign accents, and when I go to Fiddlers next week they have hot Russian women on the wait staff as the old farts I golf with love the nineteenth hole. Sadly, I will try to golf once, but I am afraid that time in my life has passed.

Yes, the 1% is doing remarkably well under the onerous yoke of the Marxist Kenyan usurper.
