So, You decided to follow after JoaniMaroni's made up quote from Shakespeare yesterday and make up one from Thomas Jefferson. There is no evidence whatever that Thomas Jefferson ever made the quote you posted about democracy being nothing but mob rule. Jefferson experts at Monticello deny he ever said it. Here's an actual link to their site where it is discussed. Do any of you Republicans ever post quotes that are actually from the person you claim they are from?
http://www.monticello.org/site/jefferson/democracy-nothing-more-mob-rule
The earliest known occurrence in print of that quote was in 2004. Jefferson was a great man, but he didn't say much of anything in 2004.
Maroni admitted she just made her quote up. How about you?
You obviously weren't quoting Yogi Berra.
In some circles they call this kind of thing lying.
In progressive circles we call this kind of thing typical Republicanism.
It's why your party is dying. The truth ain't in you.

No, you think it's the truth because it reinforces your idiotic views.PACEDOG#1 wrote:I could care less who runs the organization as long as he is posting the truth and this is the truth like it or not.Floridatexan wrote:Both Z and I have pointed out the obvious that you apparently don't want to acknowledge; that the Washington Times was founded and run for many years by the Rev. Liberals have revisionist history...Nekochan wrote:For God's sake, don't quote anything from Jefferson unless you actually heard him say it. But.....it's just fine for our Vice President to be a plagiarizer.

Conservatives don't revise it, they just make it up as they go along.
BTW, Bill Clinton lied too,so I guess that makes it alright to teach your kids to do it.
It's just astonishing how some people expect more from anonymous local forum members than they do from their Vice President.PACEDOG#1 wrote:Funny how liberals take every post on this forum against their heroes and spin it into something else.
It works for me.boards of FL wrote:Well isn't that convenient!
I simply just posted a picture with some writing on it.boards of FL wrote:Yes. Tell me, Damaged Eagle, is there a difference then between being 'unable to verify' and saying that that definitely is a quote from a particular person?
If he had access to time travel he may or may not have said that.boards of FL wrote:"Damaged Eagle is an ass clown." - Albert Einstein (Source: unable to verify)
Now, granted, we are unable to verify this quote, but...I guess that means we don't know for sure that he didn't say it, do we? <---Damaged Eagle logic
