Investigators are seeking a suspect in a home invasion that occurred Saturday morning in the 1800 block of Border Street in Pensacola, according to a press release from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect allegedly entered the home of a 70-year-old woman through her open front door while wielding a gun, the release said. He demanded money from the victim, and when she said she had none, he placed the gun to her head and demanded her debit card and PIN number.
He then bound her with cable cords and fled. The victim escaped and went to a neighbors house to call for help.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 6-feet-tall, who may have gold teeth. His vehicle is believed to be a newer model silver 4-door (possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix) with dark tinted windows.
Deputies also are seeking another black male, 6-feet-tall, in his 40’s, who was driving an older gray pickup truck. He asked the victim for money 20 minutes before the robbery and may have been involved in the break-in, the release said.
Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call Gulf Coast Crimestoppers at 433-STOP or the Escambia Sheriff’s Office at 436-9620.
