The latest post, titled Who Are The Real Traitors? is excellent in its analogy of Snowden and what he did.

Anyone who calls Snowden a traitor is just another apparatchik of the Security State, which is not the country our Founding Fathers had in mind when they wrote our Constitution.

Wow, Z...I don't even know what to say about that site...I really don't.

I have been reading this blog for about a year now. The author lives in Philadelphia and is a late 40s Generation Xer. He leans very heavily to the libertarian side. I like his analogies and agree with most of his political leanings and insights.

When you are read into programs that require certain clearances, you sign a disclosure agreement. If you violate that disclosure agreement, you get to go to jail. He was trusted with secrets and he violated that trust. That's why he is on the run. He knows the consequences of his actions and where they will lead him. It's sad two people like yourself think that he is a hero, but that is not unexpected from either of you. He is a dirtbag and deserves whatever fate he encounters.

He could have chosen to resign from his 122k per year job if he was that bothered by it.
