My 2013 Resolution

To all of the forum members that I have pissed off, aggravated, incensed and otherwise argued needlessly with, I extend to you this:

Dammit, why are you offering half an Olive Branch?

I think I will try not to "go bankrupt on my credit cards".

Nope.....I think I will go bankrupt on my income taxes.......right after I go bankrupt on my dog......

My dog asked me to put her new years resolutions here.

1. I resolve to resist the temptation to stop snacking. I know there is a lot of evidence that dogs are overweight. But let’s face it. Yours truly is not interested in getting into a bikini any time soon.

2. Exercise is over rated. Sleep is in. I’m calling on all of you to restore nap time to its rightful place. Just think how much better the world would be if everyone took a nap (or more than one during the day!)

3. Relax. You humans take everything so seriously. Do you see me worrying about taxes or about a fiscal cliff? No! The only thing I care about is someone to fill my dog bowl with yummy food and belly rubs. Did you ever think that if we took the heads of Congress, lay them on their backs and gave them belly rubs, the world would be a better place. Seriously, name one issue that can’t be solved with a belly rub.

Can your dog be taxed? Did he show a profit? would he be listed as an asset or liability? Capital Gain or lost dog?

Looks like most of us are going to be paying a lot more in taxes....

Reading this thread has been taxing and I'm not even bankrupt.

I once helped folks with divorces and bankruptcies.....right after I completed my brain surgery residency......my specialty was extracting little green men from folk's head.......I guess you know what they say about the plumber....he never fixes his own pipes.....and since my brain surgery residency.....I cannot for the life of me tell the difference from the onset of the flu symptoms and a simple sore throat.......I guess I need to be more careful......might let someone come into my "flu house".....but they did have fun reading what I had been doing that afternoon......yipppeeee back for more.

You are just splitting hairs JM......you are nitpicking......I really meant when I was going bankrupt on my dog......well......I meant I was taking her out for a walk.......yea.....that's the ticket. You know fully well that they do not send out a 1099 when you walk your dog......who do you think you are?

C'mon....Dreams and Seaoat...how about an olive branch?

I really do have a great deal of affection for Dreams and Stormy.....but my fourth grader comes out too often when playing with them in the sandbox.....I like pulling their pigtails.......I will sadly admit.......it is kinda fun.

They are both intelligent and really hate me at times.....I would not pull their pigtails if they were not intelligent and able to give it right back........but I am morally bankrupt.....and it has been taxing.....but that is Stormy's pigtail.......hey taxes and pigtails......it must be something Freudian.

Norm?.......you mean like normal? There is no normal on the this board or the old PNJ........and that my friend is what makes this place so much fun. My resolution for 2013 is to continue to have fun.....plain and simple......and I think I am guaranteed to meet that resolution.

In the process....please familiarize yourself with the symptoms of the flu versus a cold.


Hint...the symptoms can be the same but the flu symptoms are worser.

Seaoat disgusts me at times but I find it difficult to stay mad at him unlike some posters whose disliking comes naturally.
