The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ruled today that Illinois' total ban on carrying firearms for self-defense outside the home or business is unconstitutional.

There are folks who have conceal and carry in Illinois now. They are politicians and their buddies who get assistant deputy status which gives them a right to carry. They will make this so restrictive, that it will have very little meaning, and it will be in the courts for a decade.......I am now spending 75% of my time in Illinois, and would love to get a conceal permit.
