Ohio has picked every winner since 1964,
And according to one pundit, we could know who the winner is by seeing how one county in Ohio votes (Hamilton Co where Cincinnati is).

If we assume that's true, then this is probably the earliest way to know who wins the election. This is a list of Cincinnati tv station websites. Once the polls close in Ohio at 6PM our time, we can monitor the Hamilton county election returns from one or more of these websites and just maybe we'll know who the winner is before a lot of people do.

I hate to say this, but I have a feeling it will be several days before the outcome of this election is known.

I thought the outcome of the election depended on the Redskins game.

My husband predicts we will have another long wait - possibly till mid-December - before we will know the winner. I hope he is not right.

How One Ohio County Could Determine The Entire Presidential Election

Home to Cincinnati, Hamilton County is a swing county that Bush carried in 2004 and Obama carried in 2008. As Swann points out, each cycle’s winner received over 200,000 votes from Hamilton County. A look at the New York Times’ interactive election results map shows that both times, the voters each winner picked up from Hamilton County alone were greater in number than the winner’s margin of victory, meaning that voters who turned out for the winning candidate in this county helped their candidate pick up the state of Ohio.

Yep, that is true and the Deadskins lost, but on a TD that didn't count according to the NFL. So I wonder what Obama will claim that Romney did that will not count? LOL Twisted Evil

Bob, this is from the link in Ohio that you posted. What does it mean since it was up before any polls closed on the East Coast.

I noticed that too, ghost, and I couldn't make a lick of sense out of it either.

Here's another Cinci station which is listing Hamilton County president results but so far it's reporting 0% of the vote.

It may be that the national news outlets will report the votes in this county earlier but I'll refresh this page occasionally.

There is a big discrepancy in the reporting of Electoral Votes between ABC and Fox. Fox is showing 88-78 for Romney and ABC is showing it 78-76 for Obama.

RCP also has 88-78 Romney

If we don't know the outcome within 24hrs I think our entire election process will collapse in the next 3 cycles.

All of you idiots that cry fowl constantly should look into that... the power of it is that it doesn't require fraud.

Just the illusion of it... and both major parties are promoting it... that is the warning bell.

Nah. This is all that matters:

Not too much uncertainty being reflected so far....Bernanke wins reelection tomorrow.
