Thanks, FT. Reminds me of the one Christmas back in CT when I bought some chestnuts but never roasted them for whatever reason - maybe we just never built a fire that winter; dunno. In any case I have no idea what they taste like.

Speaking of Nat King Cole, one of my fave music pieces of all times is Nat singing "Stardust." I know it by heart but man, the range -- it's a toughie. I only sing it in the shower. lol

Here you go, Linda. It's also one of my all-time favorites and reminds me of my dad, who's been gone since 1985. He had a beautiful voice, too.

I think there are a few tiny glitches in the lyrics based on the actual performance (I have the old record album, too), but that's neither here nor there. I appreciate the gesture, and thank you again.

Didn't know this happened until I saw the Green Book movie the other night. They talk about the incident. Alabama god damn!

Oh my God. I'd only heard Sinatra sing it until recently and I didn't think I could ever hear anything better. But Nat King Cole and Nature boy just takes your breath away.
When my son got married I gave him a card with the words to that song on it. His wife said it was from Moulon Rouge. I guess every generation sees things a little differently.
