Her votes going to Hillary would have given Hillary the election with clear victories in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. I never trusted the candidate. I never trusted a third party when now in two elections they have allowed the Republicans to win. The formula is simple and Putin may have played her. I do not trust her for a moment.

Report on CNN showing Stein with Putin, and Flynn at conference in 2015 and reviewing the vote counts in key states.

You aren't going to get much traction with that here... lol. But i guess any excuse will do.

It was a good political move. Stein was far left fuzzy thinking, and every one of her votes put President Trump in office. Ralph Nader II. I was shocked to see the actual vote totals in the three states which swung the election. I had not seen her influence quantified. It was a good political move to split your opponents vote, but when the Russians may have been part of that, it begins to have a different meaning. In the end, anybody who was stupid enough to vote for Stein deserves President Trump.

That's WAY too simplistic. There were a lot of factors and that was one of them, sure, but it wasn't THE factor. Hillary Clinton's offensive, insincere personality and stupid choices had as much, if not more, to do with it.

"Basket of deplorables", have you ever heard a candidate for National office say something like that about an opponents followers before? I dislike Trump but part of me is glad she lost. Jill Stein's votes may be the direct result of the nomination of Hillary. The Democratic party is screwed until they push the whole Clinton machine out.

Very interesting. Do you have a link or two? What with the possibility of another Supreme Court Justice opening coming any day now I really don't need one more thing to be upset about but hey, These are upsetting times!

Ive seen this photo many times because it was taken at the RT awards dinner or some RT event. I wondered who that gray haired woman was but had not followed Stein enough to have had her pop out.

This is a bit obvious isn't it? I mean not exactly something they are hiding but interesting in a sickening sort of way for sure.

Would you settle for an anecdote and another 500 words?

You gutless piece of shit! You couldn't string together 500 coherent words if your life depended on it. All you do is sit on the sidelines like a sissy-ass cheerleader, spewing snark... lol

The report was on CNN last night, but it is a logical connection. I really think her entire candidacy was to help the Republicans. Who was behind it does not change a thing as to the actual numbers where the three key states where they took the winning margin from Clinton.

Except that Johnson out performed Stein... leaving her an inconsequential blip that didn't move the needle.

Correlation is not causation! If Hillary hadn't been such a deplorable candidate, Stein may have gotten fewer votes.

As reasonable a conjecture is that Stein voters were ABC voters--Anybody But Clinton.

You could make a damn good case for Stein getting those votes BECAUSE of Clinton--that her campaign DROVE voters to Stein with her  inability to connect with blue-collar males.

Hillary lost because she was such a shitty candidate, to blame it on Stein is grotesquely revisionist. I never believed it, but now I'm starting to think CNN might actually stand for Clinton News Network.

The Democratic party is doomed until she and her deplorable husband take a walk in the ash-heap of history.

No Republican would vote for Stein. Some Republicans did vote for Johnson as I did in 2012(I was an idiot), but Stein peeled off the most liberal voters who hand delivered the Presidency to President Trump.

The net effect being that Johnson offset Stein in total and drew off trump votes.

Fake talkingpoint.

Your accurate observation as to the final vote is the only thing that matters. It does beg the question as to whether it was a conspiracy sponsored by the Putin forces, an insurance policy of sorts, just another stumbling block to Hillary's election.
