It's Official: Clinton's Popular Vote Win Came Entirely From California

Not a surprise. They have Governor Moonbeam!

Our Progressive good friends would love for the office of President be determined by MOB RULE. Then they would be certain that New York and California would rule the other forty-eight [or is it 55] states they want. After all, Progressives know what is best for EVERYONE...just ask them!

It's Official: Clinton's Popular Vote Win Came Entirely From California

Outside California, Hillary Clinton lost the popular vote by 1.4 million to Donald Trump.

Democrats who are having trouble getting out of the first stage of grief — denial — aren't being helped by the fact that, now that all the votes are counted, Hillary Clinton's lead in the popular vote has topped 2.8 million, giving her a 48% share of the vote compared with Trumps 46%.

To those unschooled in how the United States selects presidents, this seems totally unfair. But look more closely at the numbers and you see that Clinton's advantage all but disappears.

As we noted in this space earlier, while Clinton's overall margin looks large and impressive, it is due to Clinton's huge margin of victory in one state — California — where she got a whopping 4.3 million more votes than Trump.

California is the only state, in fact, where Clinton's margin of victory was bigger than President Obama's in 2012 — 61.5% vs. Obama's 60%.

I don't see your certification for that 65% but New York and California are the two most expensive states to live in as well.

New York has Wall Street where all those folks you despise live and work making tens of millions of dollars.

Same for California, Silicon Valley, Hollywood, LA, all filled with the ugly super rich. So you seem to be contradicting yourself. Don't Democrats pride themselves on representing the poor...downtrodden...minorities...illegal aliens?

Donald Trump WON because Hillary Clinton all but ignored states she believed were solidly behind her. They ignored the people on the ground, those closest to the workers and voters and got clobbered.

If it was not such a big deal........why all the threads. Heck, I am just smiling a great deal lately. The idea of a New Yorker taking advantage of some hayseeds..........wow, that story is as old as the nation. Now we get to see why the majority of Americans did not vote for President elect Trump, and the slow discovery by those who voted for him that maybe.......just maybe, Donald Trump is 1% and that is who he is working for in his presidency. I might be wrong, but the majority of Americans who voted certainly were not.
