I'm glad you broke the silence, Joanie. It looks like we will be inaugurating President Trump in January. I did not vote for him--I just hope he does a better job than George W. Bush did.

Right now, Wall Street is welcoming his victory with a down market (futures are down as this election continues to unfold).

Rejection is a bitter pill. They should've known better... should've applied their ethics. It's their fault.

I think Bernie would have done better. He was a change candidate. Unbelievable.

Was it Hillary's unethical actions that stole the nomination from Bernie?

She didn't have any problems cheating against Bernie as proven when she took the debate questions.

Dirty.

Donna Brazile is totally not sorry for leaking CNN debate questions to Hillary Clinton

In all honesty, I'm surprised by the results and don't have a clue as to what Trump will prove himself to be as President.

It is gratifying to see that the Country will be changing direction.

We've been too long going the wrong way and excusing far too much.

So you don't know or care what direction, as long as it's different??   That is just thoroughly frightening -- and that kind of thinking is exactly what's given us Trump.  Let's just hope you're happy with whatever he "proves himself to be as president."   Good holy grief.

I wasn't surprised. I felt that a huge number of American's were sick and tired of all the corruption, ethics violations, criminal activities and totally ignoring the American voter and Constitution.

At least Donald Trump has more experience than did Lame Duck President Barack Hussein Obama when he took office and the Progressives didn't see a problem.

Hopefully, Trump will listen to his advisers and make great appointments to the courts.

None us "knows"

Stop fighting the change. It's been bad for years and Hillary was not going to change the established way of government.

Yes, I'm open to a refreshed direction. Perhaps you should look at what the voters are thinking

We we're forced to choose between insanity and corruption. And now the Pussy Grabber with the dead rat on his head is our Dear Leader.

Fasten your seat-belts. It's going to be a bumpy ride!

So proud of the speech given tonight by PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP. Already reaching out to bring the country together Democrats and Republicans. Warm heartfelt sincere thanks to Hillary Clinton too.

Your far left publication POLITICO just this morning said it was IMPOSSIBLE.

I've tried to tell my Progressive, Socialist and Communist good friends they were getting bad information.

Take it easy, you have five stages of grief to endure.

Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

Congrats to Trump.

Went to bed last night at 915 and told my wife he'd won, just got up at 5AM and turned on the tv and said I'll be damn lol. Bob and I both came to the reality before he even had his brain surgery that at our age how much damage could either candidates do to our lives. Things will change but I don't expect much except I feel I now should have sold my stocks yesterday except for my marijuana stocks which have been going up since last week in anticipation of more states legalizing.

Can't depend on polls anymore. I like in past election's still believe the news station's should not call any state or publicize how people are voting until all polls are closed.

I'd really be down if amendment two had been defeated.

Stupidity, intolerance, and bigotry have won the day.

We get precisely the government we deserve.

Congratulations.

Enjoy the show.

Well this will certainly be an interesting four years. I think most of America (Clinton won the popular vote) and certainly most of the world is in shock.

Let's see how it plays out.

This is the part that I look forward to reading about today and in the next few weeks. How were the polls so off? I thought that there would certainly be some people out there who would lie to pollsters because they were ashamed to admit that they would vote for Trump, but I didn't think there would be enough of those to sway the swing states.

It will be interesting to dig into the results broken down by age/sex/ethnicity/education demographics.

Something funny on tv right now the Canadian government immigration website crashed overnight. Saw on FB last night Canadian real estate agents advertising. lol

Well let's see what happens in the next 4 years with a completely controlled republican government. If you don't like it change again will take place in 2020. I suspect with Trump's democratic past he will not live up to most of his promises.

Hell even some of the gambling sites have to pay out a lot of money because one paid out for Clinton early October.

Wow just heard on news the markets had the biggest drop since Sept 11 2001, let's see if it can recover when the U.S. markets open.
