They learned from us that the secret of a growing economy is cheap, abundant energy. Their building power plants hand over fist. Meanwhile, President Barack Hussein Obama is crippling our production of energy and has promised to cause the prices to SKYROCKET.

China also does not think in decades, they think in centuries. At the rate they, and we, are going, they may have to speed up their clocks.

You make a great point that even though it appears from the comparison of spending that the US is outspending every other country, China using slave labor gets far more bang for it's buck and can use a lot less money. They also get the benefit of modern technologies that it doesn't have to spend developing because ole Bill and Hillary gave it to them. Also seeing how as all our modern electronic devices are produced there it's a short step to developing them for use in their weapons program....
