Here we have the LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD AGAIN SITTING ON HIS THUMB AS ISIS CONTINUES THEIR WAR.

Lame Duck President Obama spends 50 SECONDS addressing Brussels...then attends baseball game with Communist Castro.

UNREAL! Obama Devotes 50 Seconds to Brussels Jihadist Attacks In Speech to Castro Regime – Won’t Name the Enemy

Jim Hoft Mar 22nd, 2016 10:08 am 61 Comments

This was surreal.
At least 34 people were murdered in rush hour attacks in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday.

President Obama devoted 50 seconds to the bombings.
Then continued with his prepared remarks to the Castro regime.

Won’t Name the Enemy

Please tell me exactly who the enemy was in the criminal conspiracy to murder and maim innocents in Belgium. Do you have their names, and causal connection to the crime which can result in a conviction for their criminal acts. If not, are you suggesting that we can indict an idea? Ideas can motivate men to take actions. Some ideas if cause and effect can be proven, can be prosecuted if the link can be made with the individual who caused the crime. The use of the word enemy assumes that the idea is contrary or against some people or nations, but please tell me how you name that enemy.....do you call it ISIS, ISIL, radical Islam, or do we drill down to the many sub organizations of the generic classification.......can you drill down to the names of those who control the criminal conspiracy? I thought not...........yet, you think the President on a diplomatic mission for the United States has failed because your absurd proposition was not satisfied....something which you or anybody can not accomplish. Silly and illogical, but then we are not dealing with Rhode Scholars.

Quite a meaningless word salad. However, you do make a terrific foil! Thank you!

1) Markle, in the words of HRC, what difference does it make? Can Obama do something in hindsight? No.

2) Seaoat, we have an alleged commander in chief that refuses to admit, unless overwhelming evidence is shown in the main stream media like in the Benghazi case, that Islamic terrorism is real and being practiced by Islam and its followers.

In the last seven years America has taken steps back from leading the world and unfortunately Belgium, Paris, the masses of refugees, and Kim Jong Un's antics are a result of not being on the forefront and leading.

For the record, these are the same sort of people that Obama and Hillary want to bring to the United States in large amounts. We have a choice to make our voices known and say no or we can bring these types of people in and expect our malls and mass transit to have the same terrorist activities. And these are terrorist activities, not criminal elements. Paris, Belgium, and San Bernadino were the results of terroristic activity Seaoat.

Poster Markle has now made at least three threads knocking the President's historic visit to Cuba. He must be loath to admit that this summit was not only historic, but it was also successful!

Imagine the business opportunities that abound in an opened Cuba...... Right now, companies seem to be ignoring the Markles, and are following the President's lead in order to get a piece of the action!

President Obama's job approval is 52% . . . . Congress 19% . . . . the end.

YES! Thank you!

What you intentionally ignore is the only benefactor of "business opportunities" is the Communist government, Fidel and Raul Castro.

The money being paid to the employees of these various American businesses will be paid to the Castro government, not the employees. The government will then skim off 90% of the pay and giving the employee $20.00 a week. Same as anyone employed by the Castro government.

In that way, I'm sure all the Progressives are elated that all incomes will remain equal.

Yes, and where was George W. Bush's approval rating at this point in his presidency? High 20th percentile, I believe...

Why do Progressives make-up things and expect no one to ever check?  I go out of my way to ask them to disprove my threads and posts...and they do nothing but whine and moan.  Why do you suppose that happens?

So Mr. Markle thinks the average Cuban did well with the American trade embargo, and that lifting the same will bring them all kinds of grief.....sometimes when you just spew propaganda, it would help to try to digest it a little bit.....you spew chunks of undigested and incomprehensible nonsense, and then you think we are baby chicks in the nest anxious to eat your spew......sorry....please swallow it.

Since the money from American businesses is going to Fidel and Raul Castro, how will that help the Cuban people?

The Castro brothers are two dead men walking......they have little or no relevancy to opening the Cuban and American markets to historical trade. The benefits to both countries will be simple comparative advantage analysis. In five years the average Cuban will see real change in their median income, and America will see our GDP grow because of the sale of our manufactured products......again only a fool would find any relevance in two old men whose time has passed.

You really believe that another Communist Dictator will NOT step in to fill the void left when both the Castro buy the farm. Russia will assist the next dictator. The possibilities are strong that the next dictator will be worse than the Castro brothers. He will move quickly to establish his strength and power.

Reality.  Working hard to re-open a natural relationship that will be productive to Cubans and Americans and constitutes a dramatic, positive change in the direction of our two peoples, after some 60 years of unsuccessful, ridiculous trade embargoes aimed at hurting the Cuban people in hopes such policy would result in the overthrow of the Castro regime, is far more important diplomatically and politically than pretending that the terrorist attacks in Brussels should deserve our attention more. Obama made absolutely the right decision about which event -- the opening of Cuba or the Brussels terror attacks -- was most important.

Nothing will erase what the Islamic terrorist bombs did.  And the truth is, with all our power and military might, we don't have any sort of handle about how to control such insidious acts.  Nada.  Zip.  You're not going to handle ISIS and their ilk with military might.

The history is important here. It's a kind of problem the western nations brought on themselves after WWI, because of the industrialized world's profound need of oil. Unfortunately, only the monarchs and tyrants of the MidEast profited. The average man was treated as dirt by his own leaders, who were armed and protected by western countries in order to continue their access to Arab oil. In brief, millions of disenfranchised Mid-easterners, led by Imams and Mullahs and believing Allah would eventually save them, survived and hardened. And now the youth of this generation have taken the task into their own hands.  Along with the latest explosives.

You tell me the solution, I'm all ears.  Take note, that the France and Belgian bombings and massacres were conducted by French and Belgian citizens who were living as disenfranchised, oppressed minorities, isolated in poverty stricken areas, where youth unemployment exceeds 40%.

If embargoes are ridiculous and ineffective... why do we maintain one for n.korea? Why can't obama talk it out?

You have your feet stuck in cement on that sidewalk which was poured in 1970. Russia is not our enemy. Cuba is not our enemy. Your MIC sponsors have to do a better job, or they will end up rightfully where your coal sponsors are now.

Russia is the most hated foreign country in Cuba.

As you know, the opening of trade with Cuba will ONLY strengthen the Castro brothers grip on their country. Companies are forced to pay their much higher than Cuban standard wages to the government who pockets most and gives the standard wage, $20.00 per week to the worker.

Of course we have the military might, without a single nuclear warhead to quickly and efficiently destroy ISIS. You'll be happy to know that the Pentagon has plans to destroy ISIS. We need a leader who would actually unleash the military. No holds barred. None of our Lame duck President's rules of engagement sending three out of every four sorties flown back to their base with all their munitions.

Turkey had told EUROPE, when they deported them back to Brussels, that they were dangerous terrorists. Brussels, due to their Progressive nature, did nothing.

Meanwhile...

Oh I'm sure, especially coming from the forum's Cuba/Russia relations expert.

Cuba–Russia relations (Russian: Российско-кубинские отношения, Spanish: Relaciones Ruso-Cubanas) reflect the political, economic and cultural exchanges between Cuba and Russia. These countries have had close cooperation since the days of the Soviet Union. Russia has an embassy in Havana and a consulate-general in Santiago de Cuba. Cuba has an embassy in Moscow and an honorary consulate in Saint Petersburg. Around 55,000 people of Russian descent live in Cuba.

Cuba and the Russian Federation[edit]
Vladimir Putin and Raúl Castro (2015-09-28) 02.jpg
Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, Cuba and Russia have maintained their diplomatic relations. After Vladimir Putin came to power in 2000, relations between both countries increased. In December 2000, Putin visited Cuba and he along with Fidel Castro called for the lifting of the embargo on Cuba. Russia is still Cuba's leading creditor and the two countries maintain close economic ties with each other. Cuba strongly supported Russia's position in the 2008 South Ossetian war. In the fall of 2008 Cuba and Russia increased joint cooperation with each other in the field of economics. Russian deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin visited Cuba several times in 2008 in order to increase economic and political ties. Russia was the first country to provide aid to Cuba after three hurricanes devastated the country in the fall of 2008. The assistance provided by Russia included four planes of food, medical supplies and construction supplies.

In November 2008, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited Cuba to strengthen economic ties and to allow Russian companies to drill for oil offshore in Cuban waters, and to allow Russian mining companies to mine nickel in Cuba.[1] Raul Castro traveled for a week-long visit to Moscow from January 28, 2009 to February 4, 2009. The talks included $20 million worth of credit to Havana, and 25,000 tons of grain as humanitarian aid to Cuba.[2]

In July 2009 Russia began oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico after signing a deal with Cuba. Under the new agreement, Russia has also granted a loan of $150m to buy construction and agricultural equipment.[3] In 2013, Medvedev again visited Cuba in which he signed agreements on education, health, hydrometeorology, aeronautics and space technology.[4]

In July 2014, Vladimir Putin also visited Cuba, where he touted a decision to wipe clean 90 percent of the island's $35 billion debt to Moscow and announced deals to invest in Cuba's offshore oil industry.[5]

Obviously Lame Duck President Obama HATES to be "outcomunisted" by another Communist.
