Ford Motor Company is building a $2.5 BILLION that's BILLION WITH A "B" in Mexico.

If I'm not mistaken, they already have a huge engine manufacturing plant in Mexico as well.

That's easy to answer: Ford and Pfizer pay billions to lobbiests and purchase senators and representatives by the bucketful in that fascist headquarters now called Washington D.C. Maybe you can tell us why Ford opening plants in Mexico instead of Flint, Michigan, is a GOOD THING?

It is not a good thing for auto workers. But that is the decision workers and unions in Detroit and Flint made over the past decades. Those decisions were also made at General Motors who was driven into bankruptcy.

Obviously Ford looked at the situation and the coming economy and decided that in order to remain competitive they had to lower the cost of producing their cars.

THAT will result in better prices for American workers to buy cars.

Your goals were achieved in Detroit and Flint Michigan. How has that worked out for Flint and Detroit?

From Business Day:

The company, which reported a quarterly pretax profit of $2.4 billion, significantly improved its ability to turn each dollar of sales into profit. That measure, known as operating margin, rose to 7.2 percent, compared with 6.6 percent in the quarter a year earlier. That helped Ford generate greater earnings even though its overall revenue was essentially flat compared with a year ago.

Obviously Ford has recovered quite well . . . . . Thank You Mr. President!

PLEASE, don't confuse Progressives with FACTS. They get dizzy and start stumbling over each other. It's really bad.

I would be in favor of letting Pfizer skip the country to avoid taxes if they passed the savings onto drug customers.
But of course they wouldn't.
