These companies are kingpins of Amerika Inc., and all of them are happy to screw you, the average tax payers.

I'm sure Herr Markle and Pacedog and Chrissy will leap to their defense, since these forum members also think it's fine to rob from the 97% of us who do pay our full taxes.

What stands out about these bloodsucking corporations, is their universal disdain and disloyalty to the American economy. They believe they owe nothing to the country and people they supposedly serve -- their only God is profit.

It's good to know your enemies!

No company screws me more than the gov does.

Your socialistic class warfare does nothing but harm and divide the nation.

Interestingly, there was no mention of illegal activities.  Therefore, it is the disgusting laws promulgated by the GD US Congress which have enabled, and encouraged this behavior.  Corporations are not so different than ordinary US citizens.  How many of us don't take advantage of the tax deduction on mortgage interest?  But do we say "Billions are being diverted from the tax coffers"? No, we don't.  Put the blame where it belongs: The GD US Congress.

Imagine that....Citigroup and Bank of America received bailouts from the government.

No, I differ with you on this. It's the corporate oligarchs who have bought congress -- the blame is mutually shared by the slime who bought our congress and all our congressional whores!

Consider: when an American corporation finds a way to avoid paying taxes, budget demands require you and me to make up the slack.
The deficit continues to grow and the big blood-sucking corporations, like those listed among the top ten in this thread, avoid paying their fair share.

No wonder our middle class is shrinking!!

Chrissy: If you want to kiss Fed Ex's and Bank of America's asses, be my guest.

The truth is the truth. Our middle class is being decimated by the ghoulish, greedy bastards you want to idolize.

Screw Amerika Inc.!!

Taking legitimate deductions isn't the same as paying to find ways to avoid paying taxes completely.

And, like most everyone here, I do pay my taxes every year.

All these evil greedy assed companies that you harp on every single day provide jobs for the middle class and others. Its a system, you cant have one without the other. Kill off the plankton and the fish die.

You may not like plankton, you may find it slimy and unfit. You might want to invoke the use of the clean water act upon it and kill it off. Then you will have the results that your unicorn utopian mind never wanted, which is exactly what we are currently seeing in our country now. But youre still focused on plankton.

How Fed Ex gives back:

That's just three of the companies listed in the article.

For more information on 10 Companies that give back to the communities they serve:

My personal opinion: A smart company gives to their communities from their profits (pre tax) so that their communities can benefit.  Why should they be giving to the government who will only,  in turn, waste it and these communities will see none of it????

Disgusting?  I think not.

He wants all business owned and operated by the government so misery can be equally shared by all...well, all except for the Royal Class.

No, Herr Markle ... I want corporations to pay their share of taxes, that's all.

And I'm just as perplexed as you over the flaws of the VA health system.

As for the "Royal Class" -- you and your Nazi corporate friends know all there is to know about that group!

I do not favor taxing the corporations.  I dont know of many (any?) corporations that do not exist for producing something marketable.  Taxing corporations merely passes the tax to the ultimate consumer. Removing the tax enables the US corporations to better compete, especially in a global economy.

I agree with you. However they are going to comeback and scream abut that because they are jealous when rich people make money. In their heads they have this vision that if rich people have so much money there is none left for anyone else as if money is limited. Class envy is a dangerous thing for a economy to get involved in.
