Additionally,  let's say the republican ticket becomes Trump/Cruz.  Would having a hispicanic running mate on the ticket get Trump enough hispanic vote to give him a chance at winning the general election?

What say you?

The Republicans started the slow drip of death IV in the early 90s. We're seeing the last drips with the 2015/16 election season.

No.

If ISIS wants Trump/Cruz to be president,  all it needs to do is see to it that there's another mass killing of Americans on American soil linked to a muslim.
If that happens,  I guarantee you Trump/Cruz will have a shot at winning.

After the debate performance,  the new theory is that, one approached the other,  and pointed out that together they control a majority of the poll voters and if that translates to the ballot boxes then they are in control.   But if they fight each,  that advantage disappears because at some point "the establishment" is going to shake out one opponent for them (probably
Rubio) and it would come down to two sets of voters against one set of voters which is a fatal disadvantage.
Plus,  Trump and Cruz complement each other as a general election ticket.  One north, one Texas,  one white,  one a minority (and particularly the hispanic minority),  etc etc.

Gun violence kills more people in the US every day than terror has since 9/11. But it's more important to be afraid of the people we bomb.- LOLGOP

Every day in the U.S., an average of 289 people are shot. Eighty-six of them die: 30 are murdered, 53 kill themselves, two die accidentally, and one is shot in a police intervention, the Brady Campaign reports.
