After the Navy Seal decked him at a funeral for another Seal for making obnoxious remarks....didn't he say he was moving to Mexico and becoming a citizen renouncing his American citizenship?...'nutjob' indeed....
What do you think about the beginning of the segment when he says emphatically "religion is the cause of all wars" and then equally emphatically "I'm an atheist"?TEOTWAWKI wrote:Very few wrastlers go on to become State Governors. Jessie is a very complex person .

My religion actually has a prayer ritual just like so many other religions. It involves making a prayer and then throwing a coin to a place it won't be found and spent. That is confirmation for me that the prayer will be answered.
So far my daily (sometimes multi-daily) prayer has been to pray that the unknown will "protect me, my family, my friends, our health and our happiness". And so far my prayers have been answered. Whatever is out there in that great unknown must be looking out for me. And if not and it's all in my imagination what they hell that's okay too.

That's only because you and so many others are so convinced that your religion is the only one anyone can ever take seriously.
So you believe in the force....maybe you can be a Jedi.
Actually that's just about as polar opposite of what I believe as anything I've ever been accused of.
"The Force" is a human concept conceived only in the "human mind" which has human-like aspects to it. And exactly the same holds true for a "Jedi".
We have a total understanding of "The Force" and the "Jedi" because it was we humans who invented it.
The whole basis of my religion is that no human concept can ever describe whatever is responsible for the nature of all existence. Which would of course include a "Farce" er excuse me I meant a "Force".
That is the most fundamental description of my religious belief.

Wait it's less than that it's the great amorphous Something

Actually since the first day many years ago that I began articulating my religion on another internet message board, I made mention of the "unknown god" referred to in the Holy Bible as one of the three precursors to the religion I conceived for myself. The other two were concepts found in the Plato's "Apology" and in the work of Douglas Adams (Hitchhiker's Guide). At least those are the ones I'm aware of.
And I know I must have mentioned that about a half dozen times when trying to convey what my religion is on the PNJ forum.
So I did "say so". Many times. You apparently just missed it.
But since you were not aware of this that was a very astute observation on your part. I'm extremely impressed.

The name derives from a nickname I picked up many years ago... "The Sultan of Cheap".
So when I began to put my religion into words on that internet board (it was a religion and philosophy themed message board), it was natural to call it "Sultanism". And I chose the username "Sultanist" which I still use on that board today.
If others put me in the "atheist/agnostic" camp it's none of my doing. I have no control over any of the labels I receive.
By the way, I was immediately told that the term "Sultanism" had already been spoken for. And they were right if you search it on wiki you'll find the other Sultanism. But I told them then that I didn't care because whatever that other Sultanism was just sounded like a bunch of political horseshit to me anyway.
